FocusedKids provides tangible tools to make life with children a little less stressful. Learn mindful practices and self-regulation skills to foster more calm and connection. You will walk away with easy-to-implement strategies so you can show up for yourself and kids in a healthy way.

This four-part coaching series is geared towards parents, caregivers, grandparents, and teachers of children ages 0-5. The conversations will be held online via Zoom and led separately in Spanish by Yolanda Gonzales and in English by Amanda Petersen. Topics covered include:

  • The Brain – Learn about the three key players in the developing brain and how they play into your child’s daily life.
  • Taming the Dragon – How to manage big feeling, stress, and upset using mindfulness.
  • The 4 S’s – How using a simple science-based approach can help you and your family find more calm, connection, and less reactivity at home.
