Autum Romano is an educator, author, coach, and bodyworker who champions nervous system regulation as the cornerstone of holistic health and healing. Her expertise centers on understanding how the nervous system fundamentally shapes our wellbeing, relationships, and capacity for growth. In her book “Body Wisdom and the Polyvagal Theory,” she explores the critical role of emotional awareness, emphasizing how parents, educators, and healthcare providers can create safety through presence and attunement to support children’s emotional development. As she powerfully reminds us, “our ticket back to feeling safe, happy, and curious is always inside a hug, a smile, or the hand of a loved one.”

Drawing from both professional expertise and personal experience as a neurodivergent family navigator and homeschool parent, Autum is a dedicated advocate for the Neurodiversity Movement. She specializes in creating environments that support nervous system regulation, enabling optimal brain function and authentic self-expression. Her approach combines scientific understanding with practical, compassionate strategies for nervous system healing.
