Show Up for Your Kids as the Best Version of Yourself

Do you ever feel like you’re spinning your wheels with your kids? Maybe because you don’t have the right tools to get through to them? If you’re like most parents and caregivers, you know that it feels next to impossible to lead your children from a place of compassion when what you’re doing just isn’t working.

This workshop gives you mindful life skills you can use to strengthen your relationships with your children, help them build healthy brains, and cultivate their own skills for mindful living and self-regulation. It will also teach you how to access a state of calm so you can intentionally respond to your kids, rather than reacting to them using less than desirable parenting behaviors.

When you can meet your child’s chaos from a place of calm, the result is a relationship with them that feels cooperative and connected.

This Mindful Parent Workshop Will Allow You To…

  • Explore the role mindfulness and self-care play in your life.
  • Cultivate the ability to self-regulate and co-regulate with your kids on-demand.
  • Learn the skill of responding instead of reacting to everyone in your life.
  • Connect with your kids in a way that helps them feel safe, seen, soothed and secure.
  • Show up as the adult everyone needs when emotions are high.

What Parents Like You Are Saying

“Thank you for making this calm down series available. You are very skilled , knowledgable and so good with all the kids and I am thankful for everything you do for them. It is very helpful to learn about all these tools and how to use them in our home and family life.”

Parent of a 6-Year-Old

“FocusedKids gave my husband and me the space to work through some daily parenting struggles together and develop a common language and strategies that we both can employ. It allowed us the time to reflect on our parenting, and our children, in a mindful, therapeutic way. Amanda created a group atmosphere that felt supportive and offered realistic solutions to those tricky daily situations that we find ourselves in when we parent.”
